What are Clawson’s hours?

We’re open Tuesday through Saturday: Tuesday to Thursday 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM, and Friday to Saturday 11:30 AM to 9:00 PM. We’re closed Sunday and Monday, though we open some holiday Mondays (Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends). We’re closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Where is Clawson’s located?

Clawson’s 1905 Restaurant & Pub is at 425 Front Street in historic downtown Beaufort, NC 28516, on the Beaufort waterfront, a short drive from Morehead City and Atlantic Beach.

Does Clawson’s take reservations?

From Memorial Day through Labor Day we do not take reservations; seating is first come, first served. The rest of the year you can reserve a table through Google (the Reserve a Table option on our Google listing) or call us at (252) 728-2133.

What is the parking situation?

All parking near the restaurant is on-street, town-owned public parking. Nearby parking is paid until 5:00 PM and free after 5:00 PM.

Is Clawson’s kid-friendly?

Yes! We’re family friendly, we have a kids’ menu, and we have plenty of high chairs.

Can I bring my dog?

We love our four-legged friends, but we don’t have patio seating, and county health regulations allow only service animals inside the restaurant.

Do you have gluten-free options?

We offer several gluten-free choices (marked GF on our menu). Please note that we bake bread on site, so flour is in the air and we can’t guarantee any item is completely free of gluten cross-contact. If you have celiac disease or a serious gluten allergy, please let your server know so we can help you order carefully.

What kind of food does Clawson’s serve?

Fresh local seafood, house-smoked barbecue, Certified Angus Beef burgers, and pub favorites, with signatures like shrimp and grits, seafood bisque, crab cakes, and our Mud Pie (featured in Southern Living). Everything is homemade.
